Hey! My name is Phil.

I’m an independent graphic designer and lettering artist specialising in typography-based branding and artwork from Perth, Western Australia, currently residing in Melbourne, Victoria.

I’m traditionally trained in graphic design, having completed an accredited BA, however, am also a self-taught sign painter and lettering artist.

Shortly after being immersed in Fremantle’s art culture, I found myself heavily inspired by its prevalent graffiti and street art scene alongside its traditional sign-painting history.

This blended combination of experiences and influences informs my use and manipulation of typography in ranging applications from my hand-lettered logos to my large-scale public artworks.

Using these influences, training, and traditional techniques I build comprehensive brand identities that offer consistent experiences for customers that nurture lasting relations. I design truly unique logos and provide custom design solutions, hand-paint displays, signage, artwork, and murals for interior/exterior architecture. Helping brands function in spaces of all shapes and sizes.
