Piccolina Gelateria’s Bourke Street venue brings Italian-inspired design to Melbourne’s CBD, combining carefully considered interiors with the brand’s distinctive identity.

I was commissioned to execute large-scale hand-painted signage for the space, working alongside interior designers, builders and subcontractors to coordinate its application within the fit-out. The work required careful attention to typography, scale and finish, translating supplied designs into hand-painted lettering that complemented the interior.

The completed signage adds a crafted layer to the venue, integrating traditional sign-painting techniques with a contemporary hospitality environment.
