Zitas Café – Part 2: External Hand-Painted Signage

Following the success of the window signage, Zitas Café approached me again to help improve visibility from angles the shopfront couldn’t capture. The solution was a custom-built and hand-painted sign designed to sit perpendicular to the building, catching the eye of foot traffic from nearby intersections and side streets.

Crafted from scratch, the sign was designed, fabricated, and hand-painted with brand-consistent typography and colors to ensure it felt cohesive with the existing identity. The goal was to attract new customers and increase the café’s visibility without resorting to generic signage solutions.

This second phase provided a more strategic layer of street-level communication—balancing craftsmanship with clear, directional messaging to help draw in passersby from every angle.
