Porco Deli commissioned a collection of bespoke hand-painted signage designed to complement the venue’s bold personality while paying homage to the visual language of traditional Italian delis and eateries.

The signage features a classic combination of deep red and 24-carat gold leaf, bringing warmth, richness and a timeless European character to the shopfront. Each element was painted and gilded by hand using traditional signwriting techniques, with the reflective gold creating subtle shifts in appearance throughout the day.

Careful attention was given to the lettering, spacing and placement across the different surfaces, ensuring the signage felt balanced and cohesive with the deli’s identity and architecture.

Combining traditional lettering enamel with genuine gold leaf, the finished signage creates a distinctive street presence that celebrates Italian heritage through colour, typography and handcrafted detail.
