SilkSpoon, situated at 500 Bourke Street in Melbourne's CBD, is a casual Asian canteen inspired by the diverse flavors of the ancient Silk Road. Founded by renowned chef Victor Liong, known for his work at Lee Ho Fook, SilkSpoon offers an all-day dining experience with a menu that draws inspiration from East, Central, South, and Western Asian cuisines, as well as those of the Middle East.

To enhance SilkSpoon's street presence, I was brought on by Killing Time Studio to assist with hand-painting the exterior signage on the venue's sunshade. The objective was to create an eye-catching and authentic visual element that would attract passersby and reflect the establishment's unique identity.

The completed signage successfully captured the essence of SilkSpoon, contributing to its inviting and vibrant atmosphere. Customers appreciated the authentic touch, which complemented the establishment's commitment to quality and tradition.
